how far should a roost be from the walls to give the birds plenty of room and keep them from pooping all over the walls? we are building a tractor for four australorps.

    thanks!

Good question! We are going to be installing a roost in the Lowe's resin shed we bought and retrofitted with a doggie opening. I also have Australorps. How old are yours?

The minimum recommendation is 12" from the walls.
