Dividing Chicken Run

Does anybody know when I should take off my chicken wire divider when introducing pullets to each other? I am introducing 3, 8-week old pullets to 5, 16-week old pullets. Any tips when I break the divider? I just divided the run this morning and the older pullets seem aggressively curious to the little ones. Just like any other person, I want to have my journey rasing chick over. LOL

Its only been 9 hours now in the divided run, should I try letting them out?

I do "see and be seen" for about 2 weeks. Birds in the incubator a couple weeks, then in the grow out pen in the barn, transferred to a mobile run in the pasture during the day, back again at night until them mostly ignore one another for a time, then supervised free ranging to make sure there's no aggression, then they are introduced to the smaller (juvenile) run for overnight roosting. Eventually, they get moved to the newer main run, when they become too big to squeeze thru the opening in the wire fencing.

I would keep them apart for at least 1 week before attempting to let them meet. Ideally you want the adults to lose interest in the babies by the time they can actually interact.
