Worked great! Half the chicks are hatched, and they stayed on their sides.

Once I used a LG and put half the eggs in a carton and half were laid on their sides to see which worked better.
Like a big dummy, I forgot to mark the eggs when I pulled them out of the carton for the last 3 days.

The divider cage worked great, but to my amusement, I wouldn't have needed it... 5 of my green eggs hatched (4 partridge, 1 blue partridge (I think!)), and so far a single brown egg... who came out white with a darker stripe (not chipmunk style, like the partridges, but a thin stripe; last time I had a chick like this it grew up to have really interesting feathers, white with the occasional black-specked grouping of feathers.) So I could have told them apart anyway, lol!
