My ducks do that all the time and it's so funny! There is nothing in their pool do I think they do it for fun or instinct. First my duck daffy will start going under and flying around and then my other duck bubbles will catch on and do the same and they do this for minutes!

I have five 9 week old ducks and they all do it! One female Crested Rouen and 4 Mixed Pekin.... I put them in the tub at 2 days old and my sweet "Micky" (short for Michael Phelps) Did it the first day and has always been the one to start the party! I am getting ready to upgrade them to a bigger plastic pool so they can be free to play =)

Not sure how long ago the original thread was but I am sat here watching my 2 daft geese in there pond and they do it a lot dive under the water then chase each other round the garden before jumping back in the pond and same thing again. I could sit and watch there antic's all day they are so comical

Yeah they're great at it. I had no idea they could until their first time in the tub.

Their first two times in the lake I almost hurt them thinking they were turtles. I'd be in the water with then in front of me and then surprise, somethings coming up quick from underwater behind me lol
