Hi does anyone have any ideas for dividing up a large poultry shed.
It has a solid floor which makes fixing dividers a problem.
I need to make a separate area for my baby rooster and his little sister as i don't think his father will continue to tolerate his as he gets bigger.
Also i would like to keep some control over colours. They are all orpingtons but grey black and cockoo.
I cant spend too much on this project. I have wood. Any ideas

What do you mean by solid floors? If it is a wood floor you could use two 2x4 on the floor. One laying flat, then butt the other next to it on edge ( L ) then attach plywood to it for a divider. If concrete you could attach the first 2x4 with masonry anchors. Lots of possibilities.

Hi primo
floor is concrete {old farm building} not sure I'm allowed to drill into floor which is part of the problem.
Can you think of any way to divide without fixing to the floor?
Thanks

Allowed....you don't own the building?

If you frame it right and connect the sides to the walls and ceiling/roof of the shed, baseplate can just sit on the floor.
A picture of the interior (showing floor, walls, ceiling/roof) would help folks offer solutions.
