That the Dominique color trumps brown

It is just a bit odd..... the chicks that hatched mostly look like Dominique chicks... and then there are only three white chicks... no brown chicks.

That Leghorn Rooster must be way underdog

I need a BUNCH more of these eggs to hatch.. why can't they ALL hatch within oh, maybe 6 hours... I think that I could manage that without panic.

This is HORRID!

I do not think that I will every try this again (hatching on order)

I set lots of extra eggs..... but that doesn't actually GUARANTEE anything....

Of my Dominique and Leghorn crosses, 14 have hatched, I have 12 eggs left, BUT I NEED 22 TOTAL!

Of the Marans, ONLY 4 have hatched, there are 13 more eggs in there!!!! But I NEED 11 total!

Of the Olive Eggers... I knew I wouldn't get enough, and I told people that I would be short... but I told them that I was pretty sure there would be extra Marans (since I needed 11 total and set 17 eggs, and then 4 more eggs 3 days late).... And the Olive Eggers have actually hacthed pretty well.... 4 have hatched and I only have one more Olive egg in there...

BREATH, relax, rememebr maran are lazy and slow hatchers they will take their time

sooo here is my tale to tell... I go out get a new rifle..and s top at the nursey and buy a fruit tree and a new variety of blueberry that fruits later then my current and... I get four free chicks for my purchase!!!!!

I peaked in the incubator window.. I actually managed to NOT open the lid... amazing.

And I have one more white Leghorn out... 2 white eggs hatched, ONE white leghorn, the other must be ANOTHER Dominique chick.

WOW, my Dominique Rooster must be one wild man.

Marans are a ***** to hatch... only had 1 nice, fairly easy hatch... but they were also amazing bloodlines too...
