it was my eleven yr old, thank god she didn't post it! I would have felt like a idiot! Lol! My first thread was started by her, talk about a 'chicken freak' https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/933156/how-long-do-golden-laced-chickens-live-for I about freaked out!

I didn't even know how to start a thread at the time! how did you do it!? I had to have kid #2 teach me how to use BYC because she loves her stupid poofy headed chicken I didn't want to keep, got rid of all the stupid roos in the freezer except for that stupid poofy headed GL Polish pullet! non hardy, non layer, only ornamental! She lived this subzero winter with no problems and has laid more eggs in the last few weeks than any of them!!!!

most of them quit when she started! She still is laying almost every day!

Sounds like you just admitted to being outsmarted by kids and a Polish, lol... or is that 'smart-alecked'?? Btw, I love the 'it was drunk out' kinda nights!!

Love yellow egg plums! Had one overhanging the back porch roof when I was a kid... used to go out my brothers window and sit on it eating them all day...

Got a really nice Lavender Ameraucana cockerel, and a second one that has good type, but missing muffs/beard... gonna cross him to my extra fluffy girls and line breed to keep his color and their muffs/beard...

I still do not have a lever gun, always wanted one, most of mine are bolt. You didn't get it in 45-70 did you?
First time I cycled a Henry I thought the advertisement is right on, baby @55 smooth, Lol!
A lot of people hunt with the 30-30 win and marlin, 35 also, I'm just a little partial to my .308 bolt.
