your fine @hennible ..my hands are like that bunchs..gardener downfall lol.. I just transplaneted some plants last night and I hate hate stuff in my nails so cleaned em really good lol... @Sharps Big 50 frequently gets stopped when I come from outside with muddy hands tossed up at him as I am on the way to the sink lol

Impossible to keep any kind of nail clean or long at work... mine are usually trimmed and dirty until I get home for my shower

yeah at home I'd rather scrape the chicken poo off the roost with my finger nails then clean the house... but then there are things more important then scraping chicken poop...

Hey, tryin' to catch up, been busy with coop building and a very crazy staggered hatch, lol. One coop mostly finished, on to the next, but dang it is cold! Cold wind and working on a open hill sucks! Gotta cuddle fuzzlebutts to get warm.

@Amberjem PeepShow gave some good explanations on the autosexing/sexlinks. The key is the barring gene in the hen and the roo has to be a non-barred. If ya want more info I can explain more.

ohh coop building fun fun except the mud.. so did ya get pictures? ..yeah @Peep_Show gave good explination... I dont know why I hadnt thought of it before just suddenly struck me when I was looking at her yesterday ..lol I kinda expect her to start laying anytime now I hope, her comb has started to pinken up,, she is barred rock/faverollie/java cross and she's about 20ish weeks now

my step father owned a diesel shop.. I grew up helping out scrubbing heads and stuff around the shop. I can find dirt two seconds before I meet it lol

We are implementing a new schedule, now I get to be home every other weekend instead of every 3rd weekend. More coop cleaning time! Yay!




hopefully you don't think of my coop as impeccably clean... it's not...
