Nah, I think that one might have been “Alaskan Bush People”. "Building Alaska" is on the DIY network, it's about building custom hunting cabins and get-aways way out in Alaska. Not really a 'reality' show, no drama really, just following a few different people on their builds.

Yep. You're right BC. Funny, I am sitting here right now with the TV going and getting caught up on the Building Alaska show. I DVR the show and then watch several episodes at once. I enjoy seeing how they do things like get joists up without heavy equipment and see the amazing beauty of where they are.

just checking in again..., just a little over a week until I go to my auction for poultry, etc!

Yesterday we had another 6/8 egg day. I've now brought 3 dozen eggs to work, so I have made a few $! My husband took 2 dozen to his work today!

She isn't very tame really... She doesn't like being held at all. She tries to kick herself free when you lift her. I tried picking her up at first, but it was a lot easier to put the transport cage inside the hutch and coax her in with a carrot. She's very social though. She likes to come say hi to the dogs through the net, and she's always very interested in any food we bring her.

bunnys have a high prey instinct..they do not like to have their lower b ody suspected in the air...offering support under them helps...read up on properly picking them up

soo I stopped at the feed store today and......I am sooo weak!!! a half off turkey for a 4 bucks came home with me... they mislabelled them and werent s ure if it was a bronze or a nackutcket or something so dumpling has a friend.....

The Barnevelders are about $4 more expensive than the PRs and they didn't short my order. So I don't think they'd give me a refund. That's why I said I probably shouldn't be mad. I can just sell them to my feed store and get back more than what I spent on the PRs.

whatever thats their mistake and all you got to say is it isnt the chick you ordered... you dont know what they sent

shhhh lets think POSITIVE they are just delayed and in some warm toasty place and will arrive in great health! and turn into toal cuddle chickens because they will be soooo happy @minihorse927 resqued them out of the box!

yep love the redneck solutions they come up with or old style of doing stuff instead of relying on electric tools or some such
