deb
deb, i'm getting fluffy too, but the worst part is my short waist and long leg proportions. Make buying clothes quite difficult.
Oh do NOT get me started on socks, I am soooo picky. If they don't feel right, they drive me nuts.

I like the 'no show' socks anyways...

I think Jim would balk at the fluffy term tho... have to get him special socks, he can't keep his up either, or they cut off circulation...

My mom bought diabetic socks for the hubs cuz his calves are huge and he hated them. I stole them, they are amazingly comfy.

I'm a 34" waist 34" inseam. And I'm 6'1". So you guys must have some pretty long legs. Because mine aren't that short either.
yep my dad is still trying to figure out how my inseam is longer than his at 32"

it is all relative.... I am a bit short... until I go back to Texas and stand in the middle of a pack of Mexicans... then I am tall.

I was a giant in TX too.

Ya'll are killing me... got short legs and short arms... but I can throw a 50lb sack of feed over each shoulder and haul them around, lol...

well, there's that. I struggle with that center of balance thing.

5'6" is not tallish
I am around here!! I think Cincinnati people are just shortish!!!! Especially when I add the 2-3" heel. But, like I said, it doesn't bother me any more. I flip them on and tower over people and don't care. Little girl is going to be super tall. She already is. Drs have told me repeatedly---from birth--- that she will be tall. Dr recently said over 6' if she keeps growing like she is. My niece on DHs side is over 6', so is DH. My brothers also are over 6'. I figured when the dr told me that, I had better embrace my height-show confidence- and make sure that she in no way feels insecure about hers. I really wasn't sure how that was working until last year. She was super mad that a new boy transferred from another school and she was no longer the tallest girl in the 2nd grade

. Now, in the 3rd grade, she is still 2nd tallest in the school, but she has accepted it and figures that she will get a growth spurt soon to pass him up
