Nice to hear they're doing well. Hilma hasn't given birth yet, at least not that I've noticed.
I just spent the past couple of hours assisting in dog birth. One of our semi-neighbors dog went into labor today, a couple of days prematurely. They had asked Karin if she was willing to be on call for the birthing process, and Karin called me around eleven and told me to get my butt over there, their 18 year old daughter was freaking out because the dog had given birth to a lifeless puppy and another one was barely breathing. It's their first litter, and the first one for the dog too, who's already 6 years old, quite an advanced age to be a first timer. The second puppy perished after about an hour as well, but the third puppy was born out onto the lawn while the dog went for a pee, and that one was a healthy boy. The fourth and last one was a bit of a runt too, but he was pretty active and very vocal, so I think he's got a fighting chance. Cute little buggers they are, but I'm happy we don't have puppies here. In a few weeks they will be terrorizing the owners.
