Dixie Chicks

yeah, I wanted the RC dark browns most of all... and it looks like of the 4 RC browns, they all look healthy and perfect, and I think 2 male and 2 female, so I will have a choice as to a new rooster.

SO, I got just over the bare minimum of what I wanted.

How many of the rc whites did u end up with? Wern't those the only ones u really wanted?

I mostly wanted to replace my current RC brown rooster...

However, since he also had RC whites, I thought that it would be fun to try to get a trio of those. But that was kinda a "what the heck" thing. My heart wasn't set on it, and probably best if it doesn't happen because of space issues.

So, I got 4 RC brown, I think 2 boys and 2 girls

and

2 RC whites, no idea on sex

any tax over a dollar is stupid....believe it's based on arcerage here

Here acreage, home value, location/view all play into it. A lot of people in my town will not paint or reside their homes because their taxes go up. Inlaws live in a '68 double wide with a two story old barn looking addition for their bakery and they pay super high taxes cause its on top of a mountain private drive with a awesome view overlooking the whole valley, and they only own two acres. If you have a house on a tenth of a acre on a lake you pay more than someone with a hundred acres. Outbuildings are taxed high also, you see a lot of old barns knocked down just so they can lower their tax bill. I probably get taxed for my chicken coop.

yep... here every tiny outhouse is taxed too...

I once called and complained about having to pay tax on all of the tiny outbuildings.. I told them that the roof leaked like a sieve and it wasn't much of anything... they said yep... just like most of the other buildings in Alaska... if you don't want to pay taxes on it then tear it down.

We get taxed on ALL improvements... the road, the well, the septic.... they come out to your place and map it all out and sketch it out and record it

My property taxes for a 3000 square ft house, a 30 x 80 ft doublewide, 10 acres, a 40x65ft shop, a 40x60ft man cave and 2 20x20 sheds costs me $650 per year in property tax
