DANG it all!

One of my quail (yes, ordered quail) jumped out of the brooder box.... hope I find it alive... but the booder box is in the toy room... super messy.

Two of my silkies jumped out of the brooder box last week, pooped all over our back rooms carpet. Wife banished them to the garage. I put the heatlamp on at night, wife didn't think they need it, but they don't have any real feathers, just fluff!

a fire ban in the spring time huh?  that barfs

Were on one too. I can't believe it we still had three feet of snow a month ago. Its DRY now and you always get some idiot burning brush or leaves not watching it until its out of control.

Yeah, we actually have a lot of stuff to burn since we took so many trees down a few weeks ago. Now we are looking into getting a decent wood shredder so $1000 +

LOL silly silkies.
It is very dry here, has been windy too. Hopefully some rain soon.

whew!

Found the quail... the two week old quail... that had run into the toy room closet and hidden under toys and junk in there....... did a baby crow..... so the kids found him, alive.

all good.... gotta find my brooder top today (just a window screen)

I have tons of stuff to burn, old lumber plywood cabinets wood window frames trim boards, from complete tear out of kitchen and bathroom.
I'm going to dig a big hole with the backhoe and keep the water hose handy. Took three days to clean off our bluestone porch, wife's happy now, well almost still have to do trim work in both rooms, been a two year project lol. She's happy the metal jackpost is gone in between kitchen and dining room where I took out part of the wall. No hun thats not a load bearing wall. "Why can't I shut this door upstairs?" Oops!!
