Dixie Chicks

well @bamadude
the creamleg bar am pretty sure your right it's a hen and is feathering in sooo pretty( had a nice displaty of feathers on it's legs also soo must be maran creamlegbar cross.........................I think one of the white chicks is a hen... has the most feathers on feeet and puffiest head feathers....  I think the blue brahma is a cockerel but guess we will see still enough doubt has my fingers crossed........... the blue is getting some kinda creamy lighter blue on it's chest and back a bit..........just discolored different color blue then the rest.....

Which chick had the black eyeballs? It would be an isbar cross

nope... I just examined the outside.... didn't want to cut it up
Did it fly into something in the dark and break its neck? How odd. Very sorry for your loss, especially of a good roo. (The bad roos, eh, not so much)

Hmm, I was wondering how high I was, wiki says 1500, another find your elevation site says our town is 1298, I know were higher than those in town so I checked topo map, we get up to 2,000 feet and I'm in the foothills of our mountains, where I work ten miles away 2,400.
Were all pretty high!

Edited to add, go a few miles further and it's over 4,000, still looking

Having a hard time figuring out where we live, lines stop after 1,600 on the puter, we live in a valley and have a endless supply of water thanks to a artesian well.

Very high here at 5200. Wells and ditch irrigation and living on the river's flood plain make our village very farmable. It takes a bit to acclimate to this altitude, but sea level hatching eggs seldom do. My cousin just up the hill in Los Alamos, NM, is one of those crazy 100-mile 14000-foot marathoners and learning to run with no oxygen at his locale gave him an edge....during flatland races it's like he's breathing heavy air. That was the secret tip of the gal from Santa Fe who won the Boston Marathon this year....that and good genetics. (Those of us with short legs have to run faster and farther it seems.....)

How far up the management chain? If dishonest or illegal, the higher ups should know....if only at the very least to find out their employees/clerks/agents are not being discreet. No chain likes a tarnish.

Bad enough what I saw and heard I will never go back there.

Write a letter to the Manager of that TSC. Send it with a return recipt... So You know they got it. Tell them exactly what you saw and why you wont be back to their store. Just state the facts as you saw them.

Customer Retention is important business. It only takes one dissatisfied customer to spread the word and spoil their reputation. Its to their benefit to take care of their customers. Industry wide more money is spent on customer retention than all the advertisement they will ever do
