Lord I ain't clocked in, in years. I just kinda show up put my 50 hours a week in and go home.

Hen you and Punky.... Idk how you all do it. During parts of the year I have to travel for work and after about 3 days I'm so home sick for the wife and kids I don't know what to do with myself.
It's rough when you have to travel. Before the kids it wasn't as bad, she would just come with me most of the time.

Since we all changed avatars for Christmas are we changing them for valentines day as well?

Punky got an upgrade now he's got a bachelor pad... A whole apartment, not just a tiny room in camp any....

That reminds me.... a GREAT many years ago, I was a grad student, and I was teaching an under-grad class. I was up at the front giving my lecture, when one of the kids raised their hand...

I called on him, and instead of asking a class related question he asked me if there was some reason why I was dressed the way I was. I said 'huh'? He said that today was valentines day.... I had had NO idea, and then I looked down at myself, and saw that I was wearing black jeans, and a black concert T-shirt with a bleeding heart in the middle surrounded by a crown of thorns. (What band was that? I don't remember

) I told him "I had no idea what day it was, I put this stuff on because it was clean"

I was already dating "spouse" at the time.

Dude, I am so stupidly dense it boggles the mind, how I could be THAT dense and never have a clue.
