ok think I got it so is the blue egg gene then a gene that follows male female genes? like the males carry one factor of the egg laying gene and the other parent another? so like dominant recessive thing?..........oh why did I start thinking bout this stuff nowA first cross of a blue egg layer (one with 2 copies of blue egg gene) will have only 1 copy of the blue egg gene... the 2nd outcross from the first has a 25% chance of getting that single copy of blue egg gene...

does anyone have any automated systems with their chickens? feeder? waterer? lighting? doors? cam? and if so how do you like it ect? and if you dont want would you like to be automated in your chicken keeping?
