they lay jumbo size eggs so figure the eggs will be of good use. I've heard they're about like leg horns in body size, but so far they definitely don't grow like leg horns as chicks. They are chunky! I honestly think they would be an OK meat bird, but we will see. I've got people who want the feathers as they molt. They're mostly barred patterns.so did you get them for the novelty or do you use the feathers or sell the chickens or or or or? thats interesting about the breeder set up for them..........are they meaty birds? what they do with the carecass dog/cat food? I mean if they are after the feathers exclusively?
