I'm just super happy it didn't hatch (but did fully form and absorbed 95% of the yolk). I'd of freaked if I seen that running around in the incubator.

It mighta been genetic, but I have a theory we all keep missing a piece about shipped eggs... we worry over the air cells but I wonder if the yolk being shook up too much could cause development issues as well...

it's possible but I would imagine it would cause 2 heads to start forming. I'd imagine this is more of a split embryo thing. I don't know though. I do color genetics, not 2 headed quail genetics.
