So, I have an open bag of quail food on a shelf in the new coop. While scooping feed out for the quail this morning I came across a hard shape inside the bag. Upon further inspection I found a green egg in there. Silly EE!!!

I did find one cracked egg in the nest box yesterday. Could have been pecked or stepped on. Hopefully not an egg eater developing.

@Alaskan If the tank is working properly all solids get broke down by bacteria and exit the leach field as liquid. Doesn't always happen. Having your laundry water enter tank disrupts the bacteria from doing it's job. My parents house is set up the same as ours, only toilet water goes into septic and they haven't pumped theirs in 35yrs.
