Dixie Chicks

Do I really have to keep a brooder light on these 11-12 or so day old chicks? Therm says 80 in here 70 outside. I am so going to invest in that expensive plate thingy bama swears by. These 'things' are so noisy all night long. I don't dare put them in the garage like I did the silkies because you never know how hot it might get in there right now. I have the light, and I use the red one, off right now, they're quiet. I will turn it back on before I bed down, and they will be beating on the darn boxes like they are frilling insane!

Dang. Its $50. Pays for itself quickly. Premier 1 is the brand.

Wow! Your bed has really grown. It seems just yesterday you were constructing it....

Y'all with the quail sexing.... There was a lot of low-hanging fruit comments about one-handedness and filming quail bits. I sat on my hands lest I get slapped again for mentioning the "P" four-letter word.

The flick was interesting, though. Made my DH squirm.

Purina always amazes. Any kind of animal and they've made a Chow for it. Trout Chow anyone? Seriously, they have it.
