My now oldest 2 are 6 weeks tomorrow. Any day now... actually, I should sex them now. Prepare myself to find out they are probably both males knowing my luck.

thanks, guess I need to grind up some oyster shell now.Brilliant! Congrats on the new layer!![]()
I put them on Purina flock raiser at 4 weeks. It was a little young but I couldn't afford to buy a bag of the high protein stuff at the time just for them. What food do you have yours on?
I only have Game bird starter available to me, so that's for live and what most people do here as it's the highest in protein.
Does Purina sell their livestock feeds outside of the US, never seen them here. Although I'd never buy their "pet" food....
We have the UFA and Co-op brands available to us.
Iron worker I never heard tht one before but it is very ingenius.Mommy is an iron worker.

Hey everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has a couple chicks due to hatch soon that I could come pick-up (I live in Marietta Ga ~ N of ATL) and have a very reliable, very unhappy broody hen that has been sitting on hatching eggs I bought and had shipped, and all have turned out to be duds.
I live on a 30 acre horse farm and would give your little ones a great home. Hoping one of the little ones is a future rooster as we lost our beloved (Cochin) to old age recently and the ladies seem a little lost without him.
