I think 6 ounces is considered "good", however the jumbos have been bred to be 12oz or more. One "local-ish" breeder is around the 1 pound mark!I dunno what's a good size, lol... how is she compared to the others?
just realized that the swing door on the quarantine tractor isn't big enough for a 1 year old turkey hen.....it was always intended for smaller things, like chickens. Not really interested in cutting a bigger hole into the small tractor.
Yeah. 6oz is standard. My lightest hen is 6.9 oz. 2 eggs today, 10 grams (which is considered average) and 12 grams. I'd like to increase closer to 10 or 12 oz.
