Me... SO STOKED!!!

I had to rent out a place, the very first couple to walk through wanted to take it actually said "would you mind if we hired someone to sand on a regular basis? We would of course pay for them"

I told them that they could spend as much of their own money as they wanted!

I told them that I would try to plow, but I didn't promise a plowed road, because there was no way to know, the truck sometimes gets busted, or stuck in a ditch. I said that even when I didn't plow, people could always make it to the pond, but then they would have to walk from there (about a quarter mile, uphill).

They said they liked hiking, and that that sounded great.

They didn't even mention the giant almost car sized pot holes that needed to be navigated around to make it up to the house.

I am in love.... They are mine forever.... Especially since they handed me cash for the full deposit to make sure that I would rent to them, AND the wife has a YEAR ROUND HIGH PAYING JOB!!!!

@RavynFallen -- What are you doing to catch it/them? They can cause you to lose a lot of sleep! I've camped out by the coop before making sure the raccoon got his due justice.

@Alaskan --That is wonderful! Let's hope it all works out and they continue to be responsible renters

That's awesome @Alaskan! How big of a trap are.you trying to use @RavynFallen? I buy this cheap green ones at TSC and they seemed to work fine catch an even extremely large Coon

I need a bigger trap... found tracks this time... it's a frackin coon... it fell in the bucket rat trap while eating the peanut butter bait... left tracks from the oil...

At least you know what you are dealing with, raccoons are easy, they'll pretty much eat anything so should be easy enough to bait.

Well one more of my Tennesse Red quail has splayed legs...

So I am down to two, not sure if I can get these friggin things to adulthood.....I wonder if I can fix the legs or better do dispose of it which I can't do for at least another week. (parents are stuck here, car broke down and are waiting 7 working days for the part). According to my parents this quail should see the vet. Yeah no.

On top of that we had a 1 hour long power outage last night. Hope my 6 remaining EE eggs are fine. I candled the 7 eggs last night, egg #7 was an early quitter. 10 days left on that hatch.

an hour shouldn't hurt them any. I've had a 3 day outage and still had over half hatch.
