Looks like I deleted the pictures... If I remember correctly she was, brown/yellow black... I'll have to look through my facebook uploads when I get home tonight. Maybe there is one hiding there. That fuzzy face is quite mean, I once tried reaching into a nest box once while she was trying to lay an egg. Lets just say all my other chickens try and peck at their worst, the EE hit the ceiling, feathers all puffed out. Normally she stays at a distance, guess she felt cornered. Is it normal that I want to go home so I can play with the fuzz balls?
Yes, that's normal... at least for us, lol... :D I had a chick hatch from an Araucana hen and Orp roo, he is already bigger than his mom, so yours will probably end up somewhere in between in size too...

Mine will eat eggs only if one is broken, then they go nuts over it. I was concerned, at first, that I might have an egg eater or two, but nope, it was only when one got broken.
All my hens use the same nest box, and ignore the other nest boxes, so when there are several eggs in there, occasionally a hen will break an egg getting in, or out of the nest box. Once in awhile the rooster will check out the nest box too, and break one.

Yep, had that happen too... for most it seems a broken egg 'looks' different too...
When I had my Production Reds they all wanted to use the same box... caused issues when they decided to lay at the same time... had 6 boxes and 7 hens, still had a traffic jam in the coop... they'd be lined up all the way down the ramp waiting impatiently, lol...
