Dixie Chicks

Didn't have much grow in the garden this year. All was overtaken by weeds and water. But we do have these! I think there are 5 good sized ones out there.

1st day of school. I have maybe 5 minutes before DD gets up and starts getting ready. Have had very little time around here & just realized last night that I didn't get her new shoes....

She has so many hand-me-downs (thankfully!) that all I bought was on the school supply list. We'll get her shoes this weekend

I think most of my SandHill chicks are cockerel's. Three out of eight sussex look to be pullets. And three out of nine giants. Not sure what the langshan is yet.

I started collecting a couple eggs today and will get a couple more tomorrow.... @RavynFallen @BriardChickens @minihorse927 enablers :p

I think they are 4 boys and 1 girl double

Dang, but that's what you risk straight run, my first were 3/3...then one of the cockerels got killed by the other 2 so the odds became a bit better and I added some more pullets...
