Good looking Sussex beer! When you start out with a breed always work health, type, color, then your fine tuning like legs, eyes, wings, etc.

I managed to make it to the horse barn to feed. Josh was down there to help. No way I can manage the birds. He has to feed them. I can feed the young stuff and the quail on the side porch. I took pictures of my leg/foot today compared to right after it fractured yesterday. Huge difference

amazingly no brusing. Not even a tiny bit. Just swelled from my ankle down to my toes.

Swelling is what I figured was the worst... hope you got good painkillers...

Oh, I brought in the Snowy girl to weigh her today... she was very loudly vocal in her protestations all the way to the scale... I set her on it and she sat there as silent and still as a statue, lol...

I've been knocked down a few times, It's only just a distant memory after you recover. Tomorrow brings a different day. It sucks, but what you have to live with, and then it makes you stronger! Best of luck to you mini, don't fret it, it is what it is...Godspeed on your recovery!!!
