Feed store said Wild Turkeys....

Mr T was mostly dark brown and black with Green and Gold irridescent highlights They were good fliers to they roosted on a pipe that is fastened over my back door.... So a good twelve feet up.

He was a handsome dude. And Brave and a fierce protector. Found him flogging something in the coop one cold morning.... I pulled him off and there was a Raven on its back shoved into a corner.

LOL... Raven was playin dead... smart bird. But he was cold so I picked him up and checked out his wings and body for damage... Caught him peeking at me soon as he saw me seing him he shut his eyes tight. I stuck him under my coat and went and sat with him on the porch to warm him up. soon as I felt him move I went out to the driveway.

Last I saw of him he was WALKING down the road and muimbling....

Yup his dead... And few others.
I think I should name another hen Hennible... I'll probably reuse bunch of names, there are only so many chicken based meals that make good names. I had a hen named Rat she was nice, not food related.

We were talking to friends the other day about some of our chicken's names:
