That's what I like about agnosticism, no religion based dietary restrictions. I couldn't go 40 days without meat.

None in Paganism either unless it's self imposed. So I just don't impose on myself.

Lent, don't know much about it other than my father in law 78 yrs old, love that man, gave up drinking for it last yr for it. Everyone at his favorite pub didn't think he could do it and bet him free beers. He delivered bread there every day and had lunch with no beers. He got a LOT of free beers after lent..Lol!

The fasting during lent is supposed to also go along with lots more charity work, and more religious reading, lots more praying, lots more introspection, all that stuff.

The point is not to be deprived, but to learn more and grow spiritually, but you can also see it as a "how to improve my personality workshop"
