blackberrys are like invasive weeds here....there is no shortage of blackberrys all around me lol I like em too just not taking over the property...the chickens have done good job keeping em off the slopes but a few stragglers  had to go

Father in law grows his raspberry and blackberry in a row in his garden. Tills around them and mows beyond that. They don't get out of hand and easy to pick.

We have invasive dewberries here. They look and taste like blackberries. A little more seedy but delicious. They love our sandy soil

super kewl @RavynFallen I have turkey envy! would totally love to hatch out a mess of turkeys ....sure loved doing the turkeys also...they are so much fun....and dumpling was such a good flock gaurdian

they are crazy invasive here and the northern invasive variety will take over a house...most of the whole yard was blackberrys invasion when we moved in....

Oldest daughter when she was four brought in a handful of 'berries' that winter and wanted to know what kind they were??
It was a handful of dried up big round wild rabbit 'berries' she found under white currant berry bushes behind the barn....Lol.
Dropped them on the floor pretty quick, mom says 'you didn't eat any did you!!!' Lol, kids...
