Now I know everyone has heard of mean roosters.... what about confused roosters that try to make you one of their hens?

Ive been thinking about putting some in my texas a#m,s.I had about 8 nesting boxes up high for the doves..Stromberg,s chicken and game bird

My FBCM roo likes to dance for me. He usually quits when I pet him.

Bought a new progammable crock pot.... Hamilton Beach.

I havent had good success with the Rival so I retired it.

This one has a probe. Will switch to warm once the temp setting is reach and will shut off completely after 14 hours.
bought a crappy cook book.... knew better Oh well. went with myh own recipe

Pork Potatoes carrots... seared the pork first. Salt pepper garlic and dredged it in flour then seared it for color and put it in.
Probably put too much salt but it Was three pounds of pork... Short ribs no bones jsut strips of tough meat...

at least the house smells good.... I have no idea how long it will take to cook...

made a big batch of tomatoe sauce last night tortellini's are cooking now ... think my crock pot has a setting one turns down after while then off? auto dont use it much after awhile and the other simmers...maybe yours has similar option?
