You know those noises that creek in the night? There's a coffin under the porch. They decided not to dig up the coffin and move it so they just tossed out another tombstone in a cemetery. That was easier than digging the original up.
I have 10x20's that are covered in bird netting and some tarp. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway.they have shade from trees in the afternoon that line the creek behind the runs. I have one roo and 1-3 girls in each run at this time. Downsizing. Emptied the 20x41 building and have I hubby to prevent me from adding more chickens. I do have a pole building with some chicks and Bantams in it. Chain-linked and lattice work for shade.
I had many. Lost count. People would ask and hubby would tell them over 200. Emptied 20x41 an the 4 large outside runs of 10x20's.to that building. Emptied out some part way and emptied some runs altogether. Really down. 3 runs for the English Lavender Isabel Orpingtons. 3 Runs for the English Silver Laced. 1 Run for the Cuckoos. On run is for the Brat Pack. That is a bunch of misfits from young through old age. 2 runs of Ameraucana, 2 Runs of Easter Eggers. 2 Runs of ducks. A few runs empty.
