what is everyone's least favorite thing to do with the chickens? and why? how do you make it more fun for yourself as well?

ya that would be super kewl, I kinda started saving lil wood tray box things to do some sorta moisaic work with maybe beach glass rocks pottery shards whatever use to do it years ago thought might get back into it

yep.... and now that I am collecting eggs to hatch.... my Marans have stopped laying!!!

well thats about par for course isnt it? are the marans the only ones you are going to incubate?

it is the only ones that I specifically separated out for pure eggs.

@hennible Want some of these seeds? I don't know if it is good for
chickens but they eat some, it grows all over around my place. When it's small it looks like dandelion, we think the kids fed some to the rabbit. We thought the old thing was finally dying. Hardly breathing and didn't move all day. Next day it was fine. I thought it was poisonous giant hog weed, after looking it up and comparing pics I found out it was lettuce opium. I had a bunch next to the back side of our house that I don't mow grow twenty feet tall!! This pic I think it's around twelve feet tall cause the plywood on my garage is eight feet to the z flashing, the two cement blocks are another sixteen inches. The ones by my house the yr before were bushier.

Neat I'll have to read up on it... It looks a bit like this weed that grows here but 20x bigger....

Jem your Second to last picture from the gardens, reminds me of something that got us in a bit of trouble once somewhere cold...
