Dixie Chicks

@alaskan

I think this will help explain the hat from the blessing of the bay ceremony. I post on your blog too.

Chicago White Sox!! Won the World Series in 2005 and we went to see the trophy.. This is our son, Adam, and me with the trophy.

I have always wanted something like that @Amberjem

either in my entryway, as a welcome mat, or on a garden path.

Jem, How big was this? I would love to do something like that as a focal point in my garden!

what is everyone's least favorite thing to do with the chickens? and why? how do you make it more fun for yourself as well?
My most unfavorite thing is choosing who stays and who goes.......I have Icelandics and the males are sooooo gorgeous but I can't keep them all. I HATE having to make the decision to let certain ones go. It is even more frustrating that they mature early so often the decision has to be made before they show their full adult plumage. No way to make it fun......

Butchering. Everything is funner with beer so...
I had one of my Easter eggers with a bound crop and had to force puke it after reading how on chicken chick, it was super gross and I think it died for a few seconds once. But it lived and is healthy now! That was probably the worst.

I was just going to ask when do ppl choice to let their roosters go or freezer camp them and what makes them choose a perticular roo over another... when does your roos get full plumage?

Well, I still think it would be better to show the "This is how much disappears from your wallet" price on the shelf.

because here it changes from county to county and sometimes from city to city State tax in CA is 7.5 percent... But surtax and other taxes depending on county can bump that up to 10 percent.

I know you want everyone to pay higher taxes for fuel....

Here is a list of the taxes for fuel by state:

The Sales tax and surtax applies as well on top of the fuel tax...

I used to be big into baseball when I was younger. I was thinking their was a black sox team also yrs ago. Nope but I knew I heard the name.
"The 1919 World Series resulted in the most famous scandal in baseball history. Eight players from the Chicago White Sox (later nicknamed the Black Sox) were accused of throwing the series against the Cincinnati Reds."

So far I've only done one of my own roos and he wasn't supposed to be a roo, he wasn't a breed I wanted to keep and he was old enough to start causing trouble so it was time to eat him... Same with the ducks, I only had two drakes left and I butchered the weaker one when The Alfa drake started picking on him...

I decided tonight when I seen the backs ripped off a couple of my hens that the RIR roo I have saved back for breeding, he is going to freezer camp. I am up to 9 roosters that need butchered ASAP. The weather is not in my favor for this task.

Least favorite thing about chickens....cleaning the coop.

what kind of trouble? I have read alot of stuff ppl hve said and then their is the whole chicken apron thing and everything and how some ppl feel the roosters are cruel or haressive to the hens, I get a bit confused when I see that because well isnt it just normal chicken behavior being a chicken? or is this ppl over empathizing with the chickens over a normal chicken behavior?
