This is Shelley, our crested cream leg bar, and the coolest thing happened today.......

At first, I thought our brahma mama was dead......due to her "death like state. I noticed Shelley was acting different...It was like mama was trying to show her how to do "something." OR HOG SOMETHING (STUPID CAP LOCK) TURNS OUT......
IT WAS BOTH! MAMA WAS MENTORING, YET HOGGING OUR FIRST BLUE EGG!

wooohoo how awesome is that!

OMG....  Big Dogs momma is gone off the deep end?  Will she come back once she gets her meds fixed?

Are you going to keep Big Dog?  I hope so...

deb

Big dogs daddy. I will keep her... However long he needs me

wow... pretty much what deb said x2....

temporary thing while meds stabilize?  or permanent?

So fun.....  big dog doesn't sound like a good fit for you :sick nothing like adding one more 'pee and poop all over the house' critter.  Add the fact that the dog likes to play with chickens.... dunno, but it doesn't sound like a promissing relationship.

I know someone is going to say that those things can be fixed with training... but you already have a bunch of critters to train, both human and non-human.

Anyway, whatever you decide, bunch of support from me :hugs

also a major sick face for the rental..... did you check first to see if the dog has covered the rental with wall to wall nasty?

I will give it my best. We are starting to settle into a routine and her and my Ozzie are madly in love and keeping each other entertained, she's only had two accidents inside so ill write that off as poor communication... As to the chickens, I can do it I've done it a few times. The rental... who the heck knows... he's going to keep paying rent once his disability kicks in and the rest of it's a really long story so I'll stop here

T.S.P. is the wall paper remover I was trying to think off!

An electric kettle can be handy also an iron set on the high steam can take wallpaper off pretty efficiently... Or if you happen to own a steam mop... if the TSP doesn't work it... depends on the age of the wallpaper and the glue... Try the steam thing it's crazy easy if it works

it's about mid fiftys today
WOW!

Congrats bama!

Nice birds Ron!

Hope your building goes well jem!

I hang and strip wallpaper. I've done it for 30years. TSP will clean up after you remove the wallpaper. To remove most wallpaper I use fabric softener with hot water after either removing the vinyl layer or a paper tiger for paper that is only vinyl coated. It also really depends on what was used to hang it, and how the wall underneath was prepped. In the most subborn cases I use a paper tiger then the steam wallpapper remover.
