Wow , I haven't come across that yet , but have seen painted wall paper in a few places and I can't imagine what it would take to remove that ,, heard one person who just dry walled over hers , said it was cheaper in the long run then the labour to remove and repair the walls ? I've only had to remove regular paper so far .....doubt I'd attempt to do anything painted though after what you've said .......good info

Yeah, after doing it for 30 years and lot's of problem paper, now I only do it for special folks, family and friends. When I hear someone say they're thinking of painting over wallpaper I let them know the results wont be what they think. Every seam will show and many times it will curl at the edges. And then if you want to take it off, well pay now or really pay later. LOL! But drywalling over it, well I never heard that being cheap!

My labour to remove is not as much as a drywaller to install AND tape AND mud AND sand. Must be I did the wrong side jobs for 30 years

this house has none, but lots of ugly paint!

I painted too, now only do for family though. I really like wallpapering better. Wallpaper paste washes out easier than paint.

Hey Amberjem! I looked at the Black Bresse eggs earlier and seriously considered them....until I ended up with 27 TJ's chicks hogging my immediate resources. What is even more attractive (to me) is the eggs are fairly local AND high altitude. BINGO!

Maybe for the Easter Hatch-along....

I've got this cardinal that lives in the arborvitae tree by the bedroom. It won't quit attacking his reflection.

He's been doing that since November. Since the windows have trees in front and the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away, there weren't curtains up. But, I put some up because of this cardinal. I've named him Big Red. He is still at it. If I'm not up by sunrise, he's there shortly after!

thanks.. I need to build a screen cage for the light just for extra security will do that tomorrow...they seem pretty happy..sorry I am on and off am making chilli verde for dinner tonight
