Oops, I posted hastily last night. LOL Nick passed his English10/USHistory semester project with an "A" so he actually passed both courses. I thought for sure he failed...again. Thank goodness. He had all semester to do this thing in stages but waited (as always) to the last minute, literally 4 hrs to semester cutoff. He was trying to give me a stroke.

I got 14 eggs already today.

I read up but forgot most of it. LOL

Gas prices still keep dropping around here. No one really is worried tho.. Just those that have spent lots of money on toys (ATVs, Motorhomes, etc) might have a harder time paying for them with cut hours. Too many people are relying on the overtime pay here.

Tnt, that's my way of studying too. "Why do something in a hurry in the evening, when you can do it in a panic in the morning".

BC, I thought lower gas prices would have a improving effect on the economy, but you apparently work in a too closely related field. Hope they figure it out, because I'm not hoping for higher gas prices

So do I. After having a taste of the peace of living there i miss it terribly. Baby steps... I have to see that mom is a little more independant... and I know grandma is in good with just my son for company...


And if my son is good with school he starts the spring semester at San Diego State tomorrow. He just changed his major and is having anxiety moments over it all. Everything will come to a head around the beginning of February.

Hopefully I will get a couple of trips up there for the day between now and then.

Good Morning all! I slept much better last night. However the sore throat is gone but instead a nice deep lung cough has taken hold of me. I did sleep with my hot water bottle on the chest last night (instead of it by the feet).

We shall see, oh yeah and the voice is now a dead give away that something has got a hold of me.

I was called in to work this morning, but told them I can't. Not a lie. Hubby needs car today. When the phone rang, I had this feeling for sure

I AM ON VACATION! They will figure it out. Anyways I have lots of work to do here.

I just messaged the CCL breeder to see if we can meet this weekend if they still have them for sale.

I have to clean out the crates so I have someway to transport them. IF all works out, I will be getting 2 more rabbits tonight (now 6 total) and 5 CCL this weekend.

Oh YEAH! I am Excited!!!

Don't touch newborn baby rabbits. I did when I was a kid and the mother ate them all. Something to do with their instincts getting rid of the human smell, Dad was mad!

depends on the doe, but sure good call not to touch em...

I've never tried rabbit, how does it compare? Anyway, DH would never give in to rabbit but if you leave them alone they can get quite mean! Which would be a pro on ease of butchering..

The benefits of this are encouraging more roots and your main root ball ends up away from the stem so you can side dress with composts easier, also a little bit easier to weed with the trowel because your roots are off to the side...

also strengthens the main stalk when or if they have stretched.....
