Heya back, Lol. Just checked in to keep updated. 200 chicks! The wife talked about getting a hundred of Meyers frypan specials, all roos at .28cents apiece. After butchering seven this summer I think she changed her mind Lol. I think doing them periodically throughout the year willl be easier. Definitely going to build a plucker this spring. I'll post pics when I build it.

Yep, the periodical butchers is better for us too... wouldn't be able to get them all done in 1 day and after the 1st day, I'm DONE!! lol

ya I need to do a plucker also though @Sharps Big 50 probly just skin it...dunno we will see...I like the drill idea for the plucker to diy

Our first 8 eggs we got came when our oldest roo at the time was I think 12 or 13 weeks old. About half of those eggs were fertile.

I actually understood what you said but then again, you know roosters dont lay eggs but they certainly fertilize them. I am just teasing you of course. I realize you are from Findland ( most difficult language for me) and your American English is far greater than ANY of my foreign languages. I appreciate your humor. Thanks for giving me a smile to end my day with. I am thankful when others take time to figure out exactly what I am saying.

I don't think I would agree to do it just for anyone, lol... the only thing I'm worried about is how soon he'll come get them... last time it took a week but that was only 12... I think I'm gonna deliver these ones myself, lol...
