Morning,
Quote:
Nothing traumatic.... I bought propane for the house.... Woo Hoo ANd since I havent purhcased propane since 2012 they gave me at a discount... 2.19 a gallon. I asked them how much the current price was and just about fell over 4.00 a gallon. So I bought enough to fill the tank... 200 gallons of propane...It gets delivered next Friday. Woo Hoo. I have to be there because the 250 gallon tanke went empty some months back. So regs say they have to do a pressure test before they can re fill. But the guy will light my hot water tank pilot for me... Yay.![]()
For those who dont use Propane they will not fill a propane tank fuller than 80%... hence the reason for only putting in 200 gallons in a 250 gallon tank. There has to be room in the tank to build up propane in gas form in order for it to have pressure to flow into the house.
One more step toward resuscitating the house for human habitation.... at least part time.
One more step back to sanity for me.
edited to add: I hope it lasts three years like last time... I dont cook much and I don't heat at all with propane.
