That chicken head is super creepy. The chicks would run in fear if they had to see that mama every day!

I only tote it out to remind myself to check the incubator (or wear it on Halloween). Finally got some pics of fowl in this **** weather here today.

Hmm, I have four nest boxes, the girls only lay in the middle two, found a white egg in a different box yesterday ? Could it be? Found her setting in the same nest box today, the non-hardy, didn't want to keep but the kids made me GLPolish!! And its been zero with -40 windchill somedays for weeks. I figured the little thing would have died by now, so much for them being non-hardy!
