I know the pain you're talking about beer can the femoral nerve pain is the same as sciatic... only it's on the front of my leg... it can drop me.. I may be small but I am tough and it can drop me. Punkychicken has the same pelvic/hip displacement issue that causes the nerve to pinch as me and he's tough too... and it drops him.
Honestly that nerve pain is up there with contractions (anybody who's been through labor)

I worked hard manual labor, bluestone quarry at a very young age,and then full time after highschool, until I met my wife and had kids. Lifted heavy rocks and swung a big hammer all day long, daylight to dark. I always laughed and thought people were weak when they complained about their backs, heck I pulled a muscle or two many times. Until one morning I woke up and walked to my kitchen and sneezed. Put me on the floor and couldn't get up. I struggled for months and worked with the pain. Eventually one morning I couldn't get on my feet. Spent two weeks crawling, then graduated to crutches, then went back to the quarry. I got better but at leastonce a year I'll feel that sciatic nerve pinch, licka chunk of sharp metal in the hip socket, and stabbing pain down the back of my legs, scares the crap out of me, that was fifteen years ago when I was crawling on my hands and knees, I don't want to go through that again. I never doubt someone's back problems anymore.
Ah, that innocent sneeze. It can end your life as you know it. My DH did that once and I took him to the ER because he couldn't walk. What a fiasco, he was otherwise healthy as a horse except for that darn Blood pressure that skyrocketed and they all thought he was dying. Between white coat syndrome and the pain of course it's going to be high. UGH.

I feel for you and anyone who suffers back pain.

You got that right!

Hey @NotAFarm Will I ever be eligible for a badge with a violation? I got one for posting a pic of Tim Smiths Moonshine bottle, has the name of the town he lives in on the bottle, and he is the fire department chief. The guy from the TV show 'Moonshiners'. I'd say the name on the bottle but I like being a member of BYC, and don't want to go to jail. I sent the moderator a explanation on the post, and apologized but no response?

I will never forget the words that escaped my lips before/after I held my first child

during labor which only lasted 3 hrs from unplanned induction: "I am NOT having any more kids".

after I peered into those gorgeous eyes: "That wasn't so bad, I could do that again".

I still can't believe I said that. LOL

2nd child labor was 12 hrs and drug induced (she was just hanging out in there)
