Okay, bunny people. How big should a bunnyhutch for say a Flemish giant plus litter be?

Hmmm
Mine was 3 feet by 12 divided into to pens... It could've comfortably housed one mama and a litter aside until the babies were big enough to take away... It ended up housing more and then we built the outdoor pen... And then we sold almost all of them for meat...
Not sure my answer is not sure...

@vehve your going to want a brooder type pen for your does, One of the thing I did was I took the size of cage for a regular doe and I doubled it and added a wall in the middle with a small door so the door could be opened when she had babys and there was more room then when they were ready to wean they could grow out in the other cage while mom got her space back with the door closed...

single bunny 30 inches by 48 brooder cage 30 inches by 72 liked mine about 3 feet tall...depending on what kind of floor you use you'll also need a resting board for them to rest their feet off the wire......and keep in mind they love to chew I felt wire was a better option then wood hutchs..

your buck will need to not beable to see or look thru wire at the doe or other bucks.. they can reproduce thru the wire.. I solved that with going to a heating duct company and having them cutt me off a piece of metal the size of the wall.. drilling holes and attaching it between the cages

I know rightt!! ..though I would reconsider the flemish they are heavy boned bunnys (and also require more space and food not nearly the meat from them that say a rex or new zealand would give you

Not sure if I'm amazed or horrified. They just threw the chicks down a chute.

I hate breaking water out of dishes!! I have two heated dog dishes but also put a couple of regular dishes out during the day since some seem to not like the warmed water for some reason or if you have little chicks the dishes can me mistaken for a swimming/drowning pool

how much was the heated dog dishes??... I'm half trying to find a either diy method or economically frugal water heater option...(other then going out n checking n redoing the water a few times a day lol)
