heya @idiotswife all you eggs hatch finally we need pictures do you have a favorite chick yet?

Ok I have a few thoughts feel free to jump in or not anyone everyone...... So I been watching alot of these Alaskan reality shows not much else on that looks good and... I was watching them install an outhouse blah blah.......... well my question is where the heck is the heatsource for those things????!?!?!!??!?!? @Alaskan ... I mean I sure as heck would dread the walk out to use it in freezing alaska but shouldnt there be a heatsource in there???


Also someone mentioned Moonshiners @JW12 or
@Beer can or @Outpost JWB anyways someone did .......now if they are doing this moonshining on a reality tv and it's an illegal activity why they have a tv crew driving round with them? I mean just doesnt connect the dots for me other then a reality show thats just made up drama for ppl to watch?

@hennible did you get your greenhouse shoveled clear now? what kind of things do you like to grow? @ChickyChickens how did your hatch go are you finished now?

not as many as we hoped! @bamadude said they were ugly. I took the one that looked like pokemon, and that's about it. Next time I'm gonna take a bunch.

LOL on the outhouse question, Amberjem. If non-heated you could be sure there would be no dallying and reading a magazine in there. Pretty much speedy business, I'd imagine.

lol I am not buying it still I'd be found as a frostbitten victim in the outhouse and gee what a way to end things... I'd be going for the heated toilet seat and floors and bathroom LOL especially after having to trek out in the snow to begin with once using it, but I really really hate confronting cold when I just wake up thats kept me buried with only my nose poking out of the blankets a time or two LOL

Having a platoon waiting outside to use one of the four available units helps speed things up too.

this would be a major concern for me....I mean what happened if your bum freeze to the seat or anything important.. this would not be my idea of having a good time, plus I figure I'd probly be out there like 75% of the time.. I'd have to have hypothermia by the end of the day..

Took a picture!! lol We have a neighbor that lost all of her chickens, so we are giving them to her.

lol yes ty , he has alot of training though he's also my service dog, but he still has a streak of pup in em still but he is incredibly gentle and careful of the chicks.. I have one shot where dixie is climbing over his leg and he is helping her lift up with the tip of his nose, they seem to like to snuggle him probly cuz his body tempature is so warm...when I open their brooder to change water and food n stiff he sticks his nose in and all the chicks run over to surround him it's funny
