The tailless quality is not limited to EE or Auracanas.... it occurs in all breeds of chcikens kind of as a birth defect. And if she has no tail bone she wont grow tail feathers...

I had a roo that was NOT anything but he had no tail. Oh he had ONE tail feather that looked stoopid sticking out of his butt.

I have to say this quick. they were supposed to shut our power off at eleven thirty.... till three thirty to work on one of the power vaults on the street. Its now close to twelve.... So if I go off for a while thats why.

Just went out to plug in the car, it's really pretty. Cloud free sky, a full moon and stars are out. Haven't seen that in a while...

you guys get to see the northern lights? We set up our hot tub a few weeks ago so now actually get to enjoy the northern lights form the hot tub!

Yeah! Got a new phone! My sd card quit working months ago (after the dunk in a cup of coffee). The sd card works in the new phone! Im seeing pics and vids of the fam I forgot about, time to back them up this time.

I have about a week to decide if I want chicks before we head out on vacation. I'd want chicks if broody doesn't hatch out anything and if she stays broody...

deb I think she has a tailbone. she has that little knob of a tail base. I'll check more closely

I might end up going off here, if I forget charge my phone... we are do for a foot of snow overnight and we got a good 8+ inches yesterday... If it really adds up and starts getting hard on everything, takes down power lines, trees etc. in 2006 when we had the massive snowfall here ( anywhere between six and 12 feet accumulated ) we lost a lot of animals... when the snow finally started to get cleared away there were many deer and moose that basically just had to lay down and die because they cant walk through the so much snow
Maybe I don't want anymore greenhouses... Bright ideas guys for preventing Hoop style greenhouses from collapsing without a lot of labor ( vehve?)
