Why thank you Jem! It is nice to hear you say that. It's what I come here for....to share what I know in the hopes someone can benefit from it and to learn from others who are doing the same.

rather discuss stuff here instead of everywhere under the sun .....plus some places you just get hostility when you bring up different ways of thinking of stuff .............I dislike feeling like I have to tenderfoot it around topics because of some social expectation of thinking...


I made the mistake once of bringing up processing chickens.. wow I felt like a total heel after ..was a very chicken are pets kind of mentality..who knew...

I had thought about the black fly thing and the maggot buckets but I dunno kinda grossness to me not sure.. seen some awesome ways to hanga bucket and the worms drop out and the chickens gobble em up though

Gotta go tell my hubby how much I love him to have more space to grow more critters...

Maybe not tell him what, why and where we raise what...

I could see myself releasing a whole bunch of BSL over my growing manure piles/compost....

I'm leery of Maggitt buckets because there's a link of course between make it some botulism... But then again there are links between mealworms and Marecks disease...
I spelled that wrong...

Haha, I tend to get preachy and I hold on to my point of view tightly, not willing to accept that someone might now more about something than me. Another pro lem is that I get the same way about things I know nlthing of. And I often give unwanted advice, and tend to voice my opinio when it differs from that of others.
