I plan yo break open the eggs broody has been sitting on. She'll be tossed into the snow while I clean the coop.

Unfortunately it is over! He has almost exploded with all the undesirable comments he has bottled up!

Sam, I like the less hot varieties myself, but hot is fine too. And then I'd like to know what it is I've eaten that isn't hot at all, but instead numbs your whole mouth with the aftertaste, that's a nice variety.

Our sheep like to waste their hay. They pull it onto the ground, and then sleep and poop on it. Do you think that instead of putting it on the compost I could throw it into the chicken run for some kind of quick break down? Let the chickens have a go at it...

BC, have you tried the net basket hay holder thingy? I think it would break down in the run too, but mold might be an issue.

I've put the dirty coop hay out in the run works for me. But maybe a Rubbermaid tote hay holder would be you first "defence" against the waste...
