Dixie Chicks

@hennible I went and checked for eggs and was looking at our polish, her head isn't as poofy as a show one. That pic might be of a hen at that angle. Her tail got ruffed up when I took her inside to get a better pic, it was a mistake thinking four little kids could hold her still.

My daughter is NOT a picky eater. She will eat most anything, but she will not eat the schools food and I don't blame her! They have whole grain everything. Even pizza day is whole grain, non fat cheese. She calls their food "whole gross"! We eat whole grain bread and spaghetti at home and they serve it at school, but she says the school's food tastes much different-gross.

I was very lucky when I was in the hospital after giving birth to her. I had to stay a couple days and they had awesome food. They have menus and you order what you want.
the last hospital I was at and was there a month had awesome food once they saved my life and gave me surgery and I could eat something again, omg they had the best pizza and shrimp alfredo but the other hospitals heck even finding something to drink was a battle right down to the water tasting like puke

wow @perchie.girl I can relate in many ways except I didnt have to have a csection but had been 20 minutes away from an emergancy one.. I rememebr praying to everything I could think of cuz I didnt want to go home with a new born and csection... they should have some sort of support group or something for single new mothers

THE city. Are there any other cities than Anchorage in Alaska?

Oh, just looked it up, Anchorage, ~300K people, Fairbanks and Juneau, both at about 32K, fourth on the list is Sitka with an adorable 8000 people. Alaskan lives in the eleventh biggest city or town with 5000 other Homerians or what ever a person living in Homer might be called.

Don't worry Al, you'll be back in Homer in just a few days, even if it might feel like years.

Haha!

I was woken up at 6am because of some car alarm, that went off for A FULL HOUR! Sheesh! What kind of vacation is that?

About Homer though...actually.... NOT kidding..... they are called Homeroids. Yep!
