they are less dry than red but to my liking for sure.
I occasionally like a Merlot... its less dry than a Cabernet Sauvignon. Very tasty.
The other wines I like too are Chiante, and occasionally a Grey Reisling... But that was back in my wine tasting days. Neither one comes in a box.

The tiles are, I think 1 foot square and 2 inch square. I made the pattern so that it would draw you from the one door to the other, since they aren't opposite from each other..... so the tiles in the kind of diagonal pattern draws a path between the two doors.
The front door is the half window door... since there is no window in that room.
The door with the porthole opens into the great room. So, with that door open, you look out the windows in the living room to the great view. However, walk in two steps, and on your right is the kitchen. That way the constant kitchen mess doesn't immediately smack you in the face.
When we put on the addition, I had to put the front door in a new spot. The mud porch I have now, used to be a bedroom, and where the exterior door is, used to be the bedroom window. Point being, I didn't want to shift the door locations, since that would cost more money.
That remind me, @BriardChickens for your entry, you need a metal grate!
All the rage here in Alaska, and they rock! A large part of the mud/snow/nasty, falls through the grate and then doesn't enter the house.
OK, the only picture that came up when I googled:
I don't have metal stairs, but I have a big metal grate inset in the entryway/porch right outside the front door. Kind of like instead of a welcome mat.
When I bought the house, they had the same metal grate INSIDE the mud porch, right where you would have the welcome mat. And they had made a 1 foot space under the grate, so you could pick up the grate to clean under it.... but that hole would hold all of the water and mud until you took the time to empty it out.
