Sweet and cuddly my a**, lol... OH has named the roo Darth Vader, it fits... slipped hock is dislocation of the leg joint, what we would call our knees, I guess? He popped the tendon and and it just kept getting worse... couldn't watch him be in pain anymore...

I traded the 6 sex links for the straw lol. I think the teenagers should start laying sometime in February. Several of them are squating. They made it from the grow out pen today to the big coop and they are confused I think. I went out to check on them and they are huddled up on the floor of the coop instead of being on the roost. Maybe all my birds are retarded.

I think I got Silkies with a hardcore Napoleon complex, they take on any and all that cross their paths, lol... I like the coops, gonna have to do more, but going slower now cuz OH is insisting on helping and have to wait for his days off... don't have the heart to tell him that I can get them done faster w/out him... he is so NOT the building type, lol, he is a great mechanic tho...

I have noticed the older I get the more my mood swings downward in January and February. I think because there just ain't much going on and the weather is hit and miss as to if you can get out side. I do however get excited for really cold weather and snow! Love it!

Good trade, I think. You both got something you wanted/needed, then is good trade. Just give them time they'll figure it out, lol.

I think it's all the struggle of making it thru the holidays, takes a lot outta ya... cold here isn't bad, not like when I was in Colorado or Idaho, I don't miss that cold at all... give me TN winters anytime, lol...

ohh ya thats right duh forgot all about that lol they just chicken lol...I guess I would be cautious about EVERYTHING also if everything wanted to eat me or found me delicious
