might beable to find something liek that at a thrift store but probly wouldnt be as cost effective..maybe check craiglist...everyone seems to think their s or vintagetuff is gold anymore..the whole reuse n repurpose movement

Yeah, people are asking crazy prices for junk even. The only issue I'm foreseeing with the PVC piping is that you would need the ends curved up a bit to make it not bump into stuff or dig itself into the ground.

Thanks, @vehve, glad your chick is doing better... trying to get caught up, lol...

@Amberjem, are your feed bags the woven plastic type? Maybe wrap the bottom runners of the tractor with them, staple then in layers so overlapped edges face away from your drag direction? Just a thought, those bags are super slick...

I have some wire hanging round somewhere I figure I can use a scrap piece of 2x2 n attach it on either end so I can use it as a handle to pull it as I move it spot to spot everyday...probly about 3 ft by 8 ft ...I was thinking bout the height..maybe two feet tall probly got everything hanging around here except the tin roofing I wanna use...and I know it comes in 2ft widths which is fine I can use overlap it and that should work fine as a roof with enough left over for the three sides...hmm there is this plastic coated stuff mark brought home he thought it would have worked fr the henhouse but I said nu huh...maybe I can use it for the sides of this........get it out of my shed and used and can always be replaced if it rots because of the rain..

Oh, JW, I meant to ask, how much is a bale of straw over there?

A small round bale is around $25 or $30 for good clean wheat straw without a lot of junk in it. That's what the farmers sells it for. Home Depot sells super small square bales for $8 to $10 depending on time of year.
