there's just too much time to think this time of year not enough time to do... I love my poop boards... You can pop my poop boards out so they can be totally dumped into the compost none of that scraping stuff... But I thought if I still had ones that popped out and I tried filling them with sand I would be able to just scoop them daily when I pick up eggs and then if they get yucky I can still dump them out and wash them... Just not sure how it's gonna work in my temporary coop so I might not bother until I get the birds into the new one... :/

My little girls are 7 1/2 and 11 1/2, but unfortunately not living with me right now, going thru nasty custody battle... part of my depression issues right now, I know...

I had one that would not quit hitting my window. I thought it might break the window or hurt itself so I took a bed sheet and hung it outside to block the view. It only took one day and then I took the sheet down. He never came back....he thought he had chased off the one I guess.

I think I'll have to put something outside, maybe a screen but our screens are on the inside. He also comes around the front of the house and does the same thing to the big window and also to another bedroom window.

work... training this afternoon. We are switching programs so we have people from the new program here to train us for the rest of the week.

plus I slept terrible last night. Normally my head touches the pillow and I am out until the alarm goes off. Last night was just tossing and turning. Finally checked the clock at 2am and didn't really sleep after that.

When the alarm went off I had a sore throat, I've had 6 or 7 mugs of tea before 11am.. I lost count! Little better now, hope the sickness stays away

so sleepy...

Amberjem...I really like crested cream legbars. I am amazed at greenfire farms' new lower prices and they are only breeding the Jill Rees lines which are supposedly closer to the proposed standard of perfection. If you get bored check out greenfirefarms.com. They have some cool birds

my favourite is lemon zinger tea by celestial seasonings. But I also take a shot of lemon juice, 2 cubes of sugar and mix it with hot water and it becomes a "Hot Lemon". Tasty! Thanks AJ! Can you tell I like citrus!?

Not to me.. I think the thought that kept going through my head was "did I miss the alarm?", then the hips started to hurt and then pulled a muscle in the shoulder. Just a few things coming together but not work related. Might just skip the work out tonight and go right into the hot tub!
